How does a consult session work?

Choose between an ad-hoc or a regular session 

Go to the Consultation menu. Search for your desired consultation through the search engine or filter by subject. For first-timers, it is recommended that you choose an ad-hoc session to test if you are comfortable with the tutor's teaching style before committing to a regular session (e.g. weekly).

Get more detailed information 

Click the 'Enroll' button to go to the consultation description page. You will be able to view the tutor's biography and reviews.

Some tutors might also include additional activities (e.g. pre-tests, ebooks etc.) for a more comprehensive session.

Verify the tutor's credentials

Verify the tutor's credentials in the Help Centre especially if the tutor claims to be a MOE teacher or a degree/diploma holder as these teachers usually charge a higher premium.

Make payment

When you are ready to confirm, proceed to make payment. You will then be able to book a slot with your preferred tutor.

For regular consults, you will make payment on a subscription plan. (E.g. for a weekly consult, you will be charged every week and you can book a new consult slot thereafter.)

Leave a review

After the consult, you may leave a review for others to make a more informed decision. Feel free to be honest.
