Why should tutors use TeleLearners Matching Service?
This is the cheapest service that a tutor can find. Typically, the industry charges a 50% commission for the first 4 weeks of lessons (i.e. the first 2 weeks of lessons).
We understand that this is a hefty sum and might dissuade potential tutors. Hence, Telelearners will only charge the first lesson fee. We are also proud to offer our lowest fee guarantee assurance (refer to FAQ below).

Is registering for the matching service free?
Yes, registration for the matching service is free to use for everyone. Whether you are a parent, student or tutor, simply fill up the respective forms and we will connect you in no time.
How much is the agency fee for tutors?
The tuition fees for the first lesson will be collected as agent commission.
When will tutors be charged?
Tutors will only be charged after the first lesson. We will liaise directly with the client to collect this fee. For subsequent lessons, you shall receive payment directly from the client in full. You will be free to make your own private arrangements once the fee has been collected.
What is the minimum commitment period?
The minimum commitment period is 4 weeks of lessons. If you, the tutor, decides to drop out of the assignment (without a valid reason such as illness backed by medical certificate) before completing at least 4 weeks of lessons, you will be blacklisted.
Can clients postpone or cancel lessons?
Yes, clients can postpone or cancel lessons, but will have to pay for all lessons conducted. We seek clients to notify us of any postponements or cancellations at least 24 hours before the lesson.
Can tutors postpone or cancel lessons?
Yes, but only with valid reasons. If postponements have to be made before the first lesson, we require tutors to inform us at least 24 hours in advance of the lesson via Whatsapp at 8756 7260. After the first lesson, tutors will liaise directly with their clients to make any changes.
If cancellations are made without a valid reason before the first lesson, the tutor will be blacklisted. If the tutor cancels from the second lesson onwards, no claims can be made to the first lesson fee that would have been collected by the agency.

How does your lowest fee guarantee for tutors work?
If a tutor manages to find a similar job obtained through an agency that charges even lower fees, simply send us the evidence. Upon verification, the difference will be refunded to you.
